SOFTWARE ENGINEER · FOUNDER · SEATTLE
Chris Miles
I build software at Kode Health, a health-tech startup, and I founded Anomaly Labs, where I designed and shipped parry, an AI messaging assistant.
Work
parry
AI messaging assistant that drafts replies in any tone. Designed, built, and shipped solo. On the App Store now.
02Kode Health
Core engineer on their audit application, building the access control, automated audit pipeline, and real-time updates behind its launch.
03Orange Barrel Media
Built the company's first real-time WebSocket feature for IKE Smart City's kiosks, and the gateway-service backend behind their wayfinding apps.
I'm a software engineer who builds things end to end, from the database to the design.
I came to software in 2020 as a career pivot, teaching myself online before a coding bootcamp in Columbus. I spent three years building real-time software for interactive city kiosks at Orange Barrel Media, and today I'm at Kode Health, helping launch their medical-coding audit product.
Anomaly Labs is my own studio. Through it, I took parry from a first idea all the way to the App Store.
I work mostly in Ruby on Rails and React, and I build AI-natively, orchestrating coding agents and my own tooling. I'm based in the Seattle area. When I'm not building, I'm hiking with my wife, lifting, gaming, or planning the next trip.
